GREG BUCHAN, B.Admin, AACI, P.App. became a candidate member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada in 2006 and began working with B.R. Gaffney and Associates in 2008. In 2011 he became a partner in the firm.
Greg obtained his Bachelor of Administration degree in 2006 from the University of Regina. He then enrolled in the University of British Columbia’s Sauder School of Business Post-Graduate Program in Real Property Valuation (PGCV), completing the program and receiving his certificate in Real Property Valuation in 2009. He went on to complete the demonstration appraisal report in 2010, as well as the written and oral exams as required by the Appraisal Institute of Canada. Upon completion of these tasks, Greg received the designation of AACI, P.App. in 2010. Greg is a member in good standing with the Appraisal Institute of Canada.
Greg has gained a vast amount of appraisal experience over the past 11 years. Properties appraised include multi-family properties, industrial properties, retail properties, high-rise office towers, shopping centers, sub-division developments, agricultural properties, resort properties, hotels and motels, vacant land, and properties involving access restrictions and concerns, as well as appraisal reports for easements, among many other projects. Greg is on approved appraiser lists for the majority of lending institutions, and has completed appraisal work for provincial and national clients, including government institutions. He has also appeared as an expert witness before the Court of Queen’s Bench in Saskatchewan.
