Blaise Clements

  • Blaise obtained his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 2003 and enrolled in the University of British Columbia Sauder School of Business Post-Graduate Program in Real Property Valuation (PGCV) immediately after convocation. He also became a Candidate Member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada in 2003. He began working with B.R. Gaffney & Associates in 2004 under the mentorship of Brian Gaffney and received the AACI, P. App. designation in 2009. Blaise became a partner in the firm and upon Brian Gaffney’s retirement in 2011, succeeded him in the operation of the company.

    Blaise Clements has provided appraisal and consulting services on virtually all types of real estate over the span of his career. He has also appeared in Provincial Court as an expert witness and has appeared as an expert in arbitration hearings. In addition, he has mentored many appraisal candidates over the years.

    The things he enjoys most about working in the appraisal industry is the interesting, often challenging, and diverse appraisal assignments, the variety of property types and clients, and the opportunity for continued growth and learning.

    In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors, spending time with family, and travel.

Greg Buchan

  • Greg is a partner at B.R. Gaffney & Associates. Greg has been appraising since 2006; he has gained a vast amount of appraisal experience over the last 16+ years. Greg has a passion for all types of real estate and provides appraisal services for most of Saskatchewan.

    Born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan, Greg obtained his Bachelor of Administration degree at the University of Regina, where he was also a member of the men’s basketball team. Thereafter, he enrolled at the University of British Columbia Sauder School of Business and obtained his Post-Graduate Certificate in Real Property Valuation (PGCV) Program.

    Family and the outdoors are a big passion for Greg when he is not working. He enjoys hunting, fishing, downhill/water skiing and watching his daughters compete in their sporting activities.

Barry Clements

  • Barry’s career began in 1988 as a Real Estate Broker in his hometown of Esterhazy, SK. His interest for real estate appraisal was set in motion in the early days of this career. In 1992 Barry received his CRA (Canadian Residential Appraiser) designation and began completing residential real estate appraisal assignments throughout eastern Saskatchewan and western Manitoba.

    In early 2007, Barry joined B.R. Gaffney & Associates attaining his AACI, P. App designation in 2013 under the mentorship of Brian Gaffney AACI, P. App.

    Barry’s assignments have included, but are not limited to, multi-family, office, retail, industrial, manufacturing, residential subdivision analysis, expropriation and agricultural properties.

    Barry has appeared in mediation proceedings relating to real property matters as an expert witness and has also acted as a mediator.

    Barry’s career as a real estate appraiser has provided him great opportunities to be involved in a diverse and interesting industry as well as giving him the opportunity to travel extensively throughout Saskatchewan and enjoy all of the amazing beauty that this province has to offer.

    In his spare time, he enjoys reading, golfing, and spending hot summer days on the lake with his family.

Haleigh Clements

  • Haleigh grew up in Esterhazy, Saskatchewan, where her family has deep routes, being home to many generations on both sides of her family. Once she graduated from Esterhazy High School, Haleigh moved to East Sussex to study Arts & Sciences as part of a one-year abroad program. Following her studies and travels, she relocated to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, where she obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan in the spring of 2010. Haleigh relocated to Regina, Saskatchewan, and in the fall of 2011 she joined the team at B.R. Gaffney & Associates where she began to pursue her AACI designation, which she obtained in the summer of 2023.

    Haleigh has vast experience working within the field of appraisal, having worked on a variety of diverse properties including, but not limited to, multi-family properties, office, retail, industrial, vacant land, agricultural land and residential properties. Haleigh not only loves working in the appraisal field, but also enjoys what she considers perks of the job, meeting new people and exploring the vast countryside the province has to offer.

    Outside of the office, Haleigh enjoys a multitude of interests and hobbies. She spends the majority of her free time caring for and riding her horses, Tony and Pandora V, and competing in the Hunter division. She also loves to read, play cello, collect wine, and spend quality time with her husband, Nathan, and son, Anders.

Nicholas Sapara

  • Nicholas joined the firm in June 2021 as a part time appraisal support assistant while attending the University of Regina. In October 2021, he was hired as a real estate appraiser with the firm.

    Nicholas was born and raised in Esterhazy, SK and takes pride in his roots. Nicholas has resided in Regina, SK since 2015 and lives with his wife, Paige, and dog, Benny. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, doing home renovations and being at the cottage at Crooked Lake . In the summer he enjoys playing golf, camping, and cycling, while in the winter he enjoys downhill skiing, snowmobiling and playing hockey.

    He became a candidate member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada in Fall 2021 and is working through the AIC Applied Experience Program under the mentorship of Greg Buchan and Blaise Clements. In Fall 2022, Nicholas obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration degree, majoring in Finance with a Certificate in Economics. Nicholas also has a Diploma in Power Engineering Technology and is a licensed Second-Class Power Engineer. He previously spent 6 years in the mining industry.

    Nicholas is enrolled into the University of British Columbia, Sauder School of Business Post-Graduate Certificate in Real Property Valuation (PGCV) program and is actively working towards his AACI designation.

Jordan Vanjoff

  • Jordan has lived, studied and worked in Saskatoon since 2005. He graduated from the University of Saskatchewan Edwards School of Business with a Bachelors of Commerce Degree, majoring in Finance. He worked in sales and management with Molson Coors and Coca-Cola before following his passion for finance to real estate appraisal and completed his Post-Graduate Certificate in Real Property Valuation in 2020 and obtained his AACI designation in the spring of 2024. Outside work, Jordan is active in community service through the Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon and enjoys hockey, fishing and exploring Saskatchewan’s lakes.
